Company Name: Slang AI
Location: United States (Remote)
Type: Full Time
Salary: $86,000–$144,000
Job Description:
This is a role where your fingerprints are on everything: every dinner you pull off, every happy hour that turns into a pipeline conversation, every partner activation that reinforces Slang AI’s brand. The work is visible and the impact is measurable, and you’ll feel that from your first event.
We operate with high trust here. People own their work, figure things out, and bring solutions rather than problems — that’s Overachiever Fever in action. You’ll work alongside a Marketing team, and cross-functionally with Sales and Partnerships, who approach each other with curiosity and openness rather than territorial thinking (Humility Ability), and who take Be a Good Host seriously — the experience you create for a prospect or partner is everyone’s responsibility, not just yours. If you’ve been waiting for a role where you’re actually trusted to run things, this is it.
Growth here looks like deepening ownership of the events channel as the program scales — moving from executing a calendar to shaping the strategy behind it. You’ll build real expertise in hospitality-adjacent B2B marketing, and the relationships you build with Sales, Partnerships, and customers along the way create career optionality across the company as Slang grows.
What Success Looks Like
- Own end-to-end execution of Slang AI’s event calendar, including partner activations, in-market dinners and happy hours, and co-hosted experiences for prospects and customers.
- Build and maintain repeatable playbooks for each event format so execution improves — not just repeats — with every activation.
- Coordinate with partners, venues, and vendors to deliver events that feel polished and on-brand every time.
- Manage the relationship with Slang’s logistics partner and own materials, swag, and collateral so nothing is late or missing.
- Work closely with Sales to make sure the right people are invited, leads are captured, and follow-up happens cleanly after every event.
- Track event performance and contribute to post-event reporting so the team knows what’s driving pipeline.
- Keep internal stakeholders aligned with clear timelines and proactive communication throughout every event cycle.
What You Will Bring
- 5+ years of experience in event planning, experiential marketing, or field marketing in a B2B environment.
- A track record that gets you described as organized, proactive, and someone who takes ownership of outcomes rather than waiting to be directed.
- Experience executing a mix of event formats — partner activations, hosted dinners, field events, or similar.
- Comfort managing logistics end-to-end, including vendor coordination, shipping, and materials management.
- Strong communication skills — you keep cross-functional teams informed and on track without being asked.
- Active, fluent use of AI tools in your daily work — not just awareness of what’s out there.
- Preferred: experience in B2B SaaS, restaurant tech, or the hospitality industry.
- Preferred: familiarity with HubSpot or a similar CRM for guest list management, lead capture, and post-event tracking.
